Juicy and Flavourful Grilled Chicken Skewers - A Must-Try Recipe!
Nothing beats the smoky, charred flavor of grilled chicken skewers, especially when they’re marinated with SOS Harissa. Whether you’re hosting a backyard BBQ, meal-prepping for the week, or just craving a quick and healthy dinner, these skewers are the ultimate go-to.
Perfect for pairing with fresh salads, dipping sauces, or fluffy pita bread, these easy chicken skewers will be a hit at any table. Plus, they cook in just minutes. The only time-consuming part of the recipe is threading the meat and veggeis onto skewers. Short on time? Skip the skewers and pan grill the chicken pieces whole, and slice the onion and bell peppers into large wedges and pop them right into the grill pan.
Ingredients
-
2 skinless, boneless chicken thighs - cut into 1 inch cubes.
-
1 onion cut into 1 inch pieces.
-
1 red bell pepper cut into 1 inch pieces.
-
1 green bell pepper cut into 1 inch pieces.
-
3 tbsp SOS Harissa for marination.
-
Salt to taste.
-
2 tbsp olive oil.
-
5 to 6 bamboo skewers or as needed, soaked in water for 30 minutes.
Directions
Thread the chicken on to the skewers alternating with the onion and bell pepper.
Brush with the SOS Harissa.
Heat up a grill pan and add the olive oil.
Place the skewers in the hot pan.
Cook, turning frequently and brushing with more Harissa if needed, until nicely browned on all sides and the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
Serve with a green salad or by itself.
Recipe Note
For this recipe, we have chosen boneless, skinless chicken thighs because they’re naturally juicier and more flavorful than chicken breasts. Plus, they’re much more forgiving on the grill, staying tender and moist without the risk of drying out.
Serve with a simple beaten yogurt and garlic dip.
