Low calorie vegetarian koftas ready in 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 225g chickpeas
- 3 tbsp SOS Harissa
- 2 tsps water
- 30g spinach
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp chickpea flour
- 4 tbsp cooking oil for shallow frying
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- 2 tsp Sos Harissa

Directions
Add the chickpeas, Harissa to a food processor and blitz until a pasty consistency is reached
Coarsely chop the spinach and add it to the chickpea mixture
Toast the chickpea flour for a couple of minutes on a heated pan and add it to the mixture
Heat the cooking oil in a pan for shallow-frying, form balls with the mixture and add to the oil
Turn the balls until all sides of the balls are golden-brown
Once chickpea koftas are cooked, remove from the oil and drain on kitchen paper
Mix the yogurt and Harissa to make a dip and serve with the koftas
Recipe Note
Serve on flat bread and top up with sliced onion, lettuce and drizzle the dip on it, to make a full meal
